These terms govern your membership and use of FloW Mauritius services. By joining FloW, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain language because we believe clarity matters.
Membership & Enrollment
Eligibility
- You must be 18+ to purchase a membership (except Teen Yoga, which requires parental consent)
- All members complete a health intake form before their first class
- We recommend (and sometimes require) medical clearance for certain conditions
Registration
New members pay a one-time registration fee of Rs 2,000 and a consultation fee of Rs 1,500. These fees are non-refundable.
Membership Types
- Monthly: Auto-renews monthly; cancel anytime with 30 days notice
- Prepaid: 3-month, 6-month, or annual packages with discount; non-refundable but transferable
Payments & Billing
- Monthly memberships auto-renew on the same date each month
- Failed payments may result in membership suspension
- All fees are in Mauritian Rupees (MUR)
- Price changes apply to future billing cycles; we'll notify you 30 days in advance
- Refunds are not provided for unused classes or partial months
Class Bookings & Attendance
Booking
- Classes are limited to 16-20 members; book in advance
- Members can book up to 7 days in advance
- Late arrivals (15+ minutes) may be denied entry to preserve class flow
Cancellations
- Cancel at least 4 hours before class to avoid losing your session
- No-shows result in forfeited class credits
- Repeated late cancellations may affect booking privileges
Waitlists
If a class is full, join the waitlist. We'll notify you if a spot opens. You have 2 hours to confirm.
Membership Modifications
Freezing Your Membership
- Freeze for up to 2 months per year with 7 days notice
- Minimum freeze period: 2 weeks
- No freezes during first 30 days of membership
Upgrading or Downgrading
- Upgrades take effect immediately; you'll be charged the prorated difference
- Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle
Cancellation
- Monthly memberships: Cancel anytime with 30 days written notice
- Prepaid memberships: Non-refundable but can be transferred to another person (Rs 500 transfer fee)
- Outstanding balances must be paid before cancellation is processed
Studio Rules & Conduct
What We Expect
- Arrive 5-10 minutes early for check-in
- Silence phones and devices during class
- Respect instructors, staff, and fellow members
- Wear appropriate, modest activewear
- Use provided mats and equipment with care
- Follow hygiene standards (deodorant yes, perfume no)
Zero Tolerance
We maintain a safe, respectful environment. The following result in immediate membership termination without refund:
- Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
- Theft or property damage
- Unsafe practice or disregard for safety guidelines
- Intoxication or substance use on premises
Health & Safety
- You are responsible for disclosing health conditions, injuries, and pregnancy
- Consult your physician before beginning any new exercise program
- Inform instructors of injuries or limitations before each class
- Practice at your own pace; never force movements that cause pain
- FloW is not liable for injuries resulting from undisclosed conditions or unsafe self-practice
Liability & Assumption of Risk
Physical activity carries inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge:
- You understand the physical demands of Pilates, yoga, and wellness programs
- You assume responsibility for your participation
- FloW, its instructors, and staff are not liable for injuries, accidents, or health issues arising from participation
- You waive claims against FloW except in cases of gross negligence
Intellectual Property
All content, programs, branding, and materials are proprietary to AURALYA Limited. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize FloW content without written permission.
Photography & Media
We occasionally photograph or film classes for marketing. If you prefer not to be featured, inform us in writing. Otherwise, participation implies consent for use in promotional materials.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms to reflect operational or legal changes. We'll notify you of significant changes 30 days in advance. Continued membership after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, mediation in Mauritius.
